What we keep, and why.

What we collect

Your email address, to sign you in and send you receipts, sign-in links and, if you agreed, product news. You can turn news off on your settings page.
The files you upload (video, images, audio, fonts), the projects you build and the videos we render for you. They live in your private library on our video engine.
The facts you type for a video (product details, brand names, taglines) and the brief you give your AI.
Usage records: which tools your AI called, when, and whether they succeeded; how many videos you exported; upload and download sizes. We use these to enforce plan limits, run the service and find bugs.
Billing details are held by Stripe, our payment processor. We store your Stripe customer id, subscription status and period end, never your card number.
Technical data: IP address at signup (for abuse limits), browser type, and server logs kept for a limited time.

What your AI assistant receives

Riffumi connects to the AI assistant you choose (Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP-capable app). When that assistant asks Riffumi for sampled frames, contact sheets, transcripts or project details, we send them to it. That content is then processed by your AI provider under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not send your original files to the assistant; it works from samples. Disconnect the app from your account page at any time.

How long we keep things

Free accounts: uploads, projects and renders are deleted 24 hours after they are created.
Riffumi plan: renders are deleted 14 days after they finish; your library and projects are kept while you subscribe and for 30 days after the plan ends.
Account records (email, usage, billing status) are kept while the account exists. Close your account from the settings page and we forget your email and remove your connections immediately; library content follows the schedule above.

Who we share with

Stripe (payments), our hosting providers (Render and Cloudflare, where the service and your files run), our email provider (to deliver mail), and your chosen AI provider as described above. We do not sell personal data and we do not use your videos to train models.

Your choices

Email us at support@riffumi.com from the address on your account to get a copy of your data, correct it, or ask us to delete it. Residents of the EU, UK and California have additional rights under their local law and may exercise them the same way.

Children

Riffumi is not for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
