What exactly does Riffumi do?+

Riffumi turns your existing clips and photos into finished videos. You describe what you want through a connected AI assistant; Riffumi assembles the cut, typography, and branding. Review a preview, request changes, and download an MP4.

Do I need to know how to edit video?+

You can start by describing the result you want in everyday language: a quick product introduction, a vertical social video, or a short story from your photos. Your AI assistant and Riffumi help turn that direction into an edit.

How do I connect my AI assistant?+

Riffumi uses an MCP connection, which lets a supported AI assistant work with your video tools. Your account page gives you the connection address and the steps for Claude or ChatGPT. Custom connectors need a paid Claude or ChatGPT plan; see Help for the current details.

Can I use Riffumi without an AI assistant?+

The initial experience uses a connected AI assistant. A web editor is coming so you can create and adjust videos directly in your browser, including making manual changes to an AI-assisted edit.

What’s included for free?+

Sign up with just your email and get 3 finished videos for life, exported at 720p with a small Riffumi badge, plus draft previews, frames and contact sheets to check your cut. Free uploads and renders are cleared after 24 hours, so finish within a sitting. The Riffumi plan is $4.99 a month for clean 1080p exports, 100 finished videos a month and renders kept for 14 days. No contract, cancel anytime.

What kinds of videos can I make?+

Product showcases for your store or marketplace listings, social posts for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts, brand and personal stories, video ads, tutorials, setup demos, event recaps, and more. Start with your own clips and photos, then direct the edit for your audience. Download the video and upload it to your chosen destination; each platform has its own requirements.
